EVENT HQ, FORT WILLIAM

Travelling from the north

Take the A82 into Fort William following signs for the town centre. Keep on this road and you will see the Ben Nevis Hotel & Leisure Club on your right, continue through the traffic lights to the first mini roundabout, continue straight on over the bridge and take the first left at the mini roundabout, you are now in Glen Nevis. Event HQ can be found approx 1.7 miles along the road on the right-hand side, just past the Glen Nevis Visitor Centre which is on the left. Follow the GGC signs to the Event HQ to register your attendance.

 

Travelling from the south

Take the A82 into Fort William and you will come to a roundabout by the West-End Hotel. Follow signs for Inverness, this will take you onto a dual carriageway running alongside the waterfront When you reach the next roundabout (across from Morrison’s supermarket) take the signs for Inverness again. Keep on this road, until you reach your third round-about by the Nevis Bank Hotel. Go straight on at this point, you are now in Glen Nevis. Event HQ can be found approx 1.7 miles along the road on the right hand side, just past the Glen Nevis Visitor Centre which is on the left. Follow the GGC signs to the Event HQ to register your attendance.

THE CHALLENGE START

Transport to the challenge start will be provided by Ptarmigan Events which will leave from Event HQ in Glen Nevis, Fort William. There is strictly NO PARKING at the challenge start point in Glencoe.

ACCOMODATION

So where do I stay?

It is essential that you book your accommodation in and around the Fort William area to allow you easy access to Event HQ. Event Registration takes place here on the Friday afternoon, from 2:30pm to 8:30pm. Breakfast and transport to the start line in Glencoe also leaves from this location the following morning.
